About Chef Bee
Originally from the Bay Area, Brianna Cooper (Chef Bee) is a rising chef who cut her teeth in the Washington, DC culinary scene. She found her joy in cooking from working as a child in her grandmother's kitchen. She pursued her love by graduating with a culinary arts renowned L’ Academie de Cuisine.
Chef Bee finds her passion in cooking coastal California food with Italian influences.
With over eight years of experience working both FOH and BOH roles, Chef Bee uses her restaurant experience to define both her cooking and hospitality techniques. She was most recently head chef at the French wine bistro La Jambe and is an alum of Chef Cedric Maupillier's Convivial and Chef Amy Brandwein's Centrolina.
A new resident of New York City, she currently works on the Michelin-starred culinary team at Marea New York and takes private clients on weekends and evenings. Notably, Chef Bee was selected as a guest chef for the James Beard Foundation's International Women's Day dinner celebration, Talent Beyond Walls.
When she's not cooking, Chef Bee likes to take long walks with her labradoodle Bentley or travel the world with her fiancée. Keep up with her by following @chefbeecooks on Instagram.
